Due to the older trees in the arboretum our Gardens close if the Met Office reports wind gusts > 33 mph. This is for the safety of our visitors.

Visiting Time

We would advise that you allow your group at least 2 – 3 hours for your visit to Castle Ashby Gardens. However, why not also include a trip to the Rural Shopping Yard within the village of Castle Ashby where a variety of local crafts together with a delicatessen offering delicious treats to take home can be found.
