The Arboretum, which is Latin for ‘collection of trees’, dates back to the 1860’s and is home to possibly the UK’s largest Weeping Beech. A selection of Pines, Spruces and more common trees such as Yews, and Holly are all surrounded by wild flowers . Weaving through the trees along the nature trail gives you a close up of the wildlife and plant life which is uniquely encouraged and protected at the heart of the estate .
