Our Gardens are open Thursday to Monday, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with last admittance at 3:00 PM, one hour before closing.Our Garden Kitchen is open Thursday to Monday, from 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
Visitors can enjoy several styles of gardens including the romantic Italian gardens, Butterfly garden and the arboretum with its diverse collection of trees and sweeping views of Capability Brown Parkland. Castle Ashby Gardens is also known for its unique glass houses including the splendid Palm House or Orangery, which dates back to the 1870s. Walking through these gardens is truly like taking a walk back in time.
The full Castle Ashby Garden’s experience includes a menagerie with animals such as meerkats and marmosets, a children’s play area, a nature lookout platform – Cedar Lodge, Capability Brown Archives and our Tearooms which serves breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea.
