The Gardens are open everyday except in extreme weather conditions (such as high winds or snow), this is for the safety of the public. Notice of closure will be given here.
1st April to 30th September: 10am – 5.30pm

Corona Virus Update
Good News! We are keeping our Gardens open at the current time and keeping the winter parking charge in operation instead of moving to our summer admission charge. Please make sure you bring the correct change.
(Due to reduced facilities over winter we operate a pay and display parking system of £5.00 per car (please bring 5 x £1.00 coins), which includes entry into the gardens. Please note that during this time our tea room, shop and plant centre will be closed.)

Under the current circumstances our Tea room is remaining closed
Generally open all year from 10am until 4.00pm. On occasions it may be closed for maintenance (Nov-Mar)

Wheel chair access into the gardens.
Wheel chairs available on request Apr to Oct (advanced booking required, to book please email firstname.lastname@example.org) Please note that our paths are made from compacted shingle, which some wheelchair users may find a little difficult.
Picnics are welcome anywhere within the Gardens, we just ask that the tables at the Tea room area are reserved for Tea room visitors.
Dogs are permitted into the gardens providing that they are walked on a lead in all areas of the formal gardens. They may run free in the Arboretum.
Guide dogs are very welcome in our tea room.

We would advise that you allow your group at least 2 – 3 hours for your visit to Castle Ashby Gardens. However, why not also include a trip to the Rural Shopping Yard within the village of Castle Ashby where a variety of local crafts together with a delicatessen offering delicious treats to take home can be found.

We do allow professional photo-shoots within the gardens (example wedding photographs) however prior booking is required please email us for charges and to book.
Please note that the nearest bus stop is approximately a 2 mile walk.

Please note that the gardens will be closed in severe weather conditions for example high winds or snow. This is for health and safety reasons.
