The Gardens are open everyday except in extreme weather conditions (such as high winds or snow), this is for the safety of the public. Notice of closure will be given here.

Due to reduced facilities over winter we operate a pay and display parking system of £5.00 per car, which includes entry into the gardens. Please note that during this time our tea room, shop, plant centre, and menagerie will be closed. (everything will remain open until the 30th Oct)
Wheel chair access into the gardens.
Wheel chairs available on request Apr to Oct (advanced booking required, to book please email email@example.com) Please note that our paths are made from compacted shingle, which some wheelchair users may find a little difficult.
Picnics are welcome anywhere within the Gardens, we just ask that the tables at the Tea room area are reserved for Tea room visitors.
Dogs are permitted into the gardens providing that they are walked on a lead in all areas of the formal gardens. They may run free in the Arboretum.
Guide dogs are very welcome in our tea room.

We would advise that you allow your group at least 2 – 3 hours for your visit to Castle Ashby Gardens. However, why not also include a trip to the Rural Shopping Yard within the village of Castle Ashby where a variety of local crafts together with a delicatessen offering delicious treats to take home can be found.

You are welcome to have professional photographs taken within the gardens (example wedding photographs). The charge is £50.00 and allows up to 5 people entry into the gardens (including the photographer) booking required.

Severe Weather Conditions
Please note that the gardens will be closed in severe weather conditions for example high winds or snow. This is for health and safety reasons.

Admits up to 4 people entry into the Gardens. Ticket holder must be present. To purchase a season ticket either visit our Shop or click on the “BUY NOW” box below. Please note tickets can take up to 2 weeks to be delivered. There is also a £2.50 administration fee on internet purchases.
